Contract signed: "Diane Keaton" as President and
"Diane Keaton" as performer, 2p, 8½x11, separate sheets of a
photocopy of the contract authentically signed in ink. No place, 1989 July
28. Begins: "Agreement dated as of July 28, 1989, between Zoetrope Italia
('Producer'), Blue Relief, Inc. ('Employer'), and Diane Keaton ('Performer') in
connection with the motion picture entitled 'GODFATHER III' ('Picture')...For each
full week of services rendered in connection with the Picture at Producer's
request, or during which Performer remains available to render such services in
connection with the Picture at Producer's request, in excess of the scheduled
period of principal photography of the Picture after Performer first commence
services therefore, plus four (4) consecutive free weeks, five (5) free
post-production days...and any other period(s) of service for which the 'No
Additional Compensation Sentence'...specifies that no compensation is payable,
Producer shall pay Employer the weekly rate computed by dividing the scheduled
period of principal photography into the sum of One Million Seven Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($1,750,000), which shall be approximately One Hundred
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($125,000) per week (the 'Weekly Rate')...." Not
signed by a representative of Zoetrope Italia. Keaton portrayed the
non-Italian Kay Adams Corleone, wife of Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) in The
Godfather, The Godfather, Part II and, after they split up, in The
Godfather, Part III. Actress Dianne Keaton, who gained fame in a
series of Woody Allen comedies, was nominated for the coveted Best
Actress Oscar three more times: for Reds (1981), Marvin's Room
(1996) and Something's Gotta Give (2003). She also directs, her first
full-length film in that role being Unstrung Heroes (1995). Lightly
creased. Staple holes at upper left blank corners. Overall, fine
