Sports Card signed: "Dick Donovan". Color, 3½x2½. Topps baseball card
#199 for 1960. Pitching highlights from 1959 and career stats through that date
on verso. Dick Donovan (1927-1997) pitched 16 years in the Major Leagues
(1950-1965) with five different clubs. His most consistently strong numbers were
posted with the Chicago White Sox from 1955-1958, winning 58 games in those
four seasons and finished second in the Cy Young voting in 1957. He notched
the League's lowest Earned Run Average with the Washington Senators in
1961, and won 20 games for the Cleveland Indians the next year. Lightly
worn at corners. Otherwise fine condition.
