A veteran of the Broadway stage since age seven, Dick Van Patten (1928-2015) appeared in 27 Broadway plays, including The Skin of Our Teeth, before he and his younger sister, Joyce, made their film debuts in 1941 in Reg'lar Fellers (reprising their radio roles). Although he also starred in a number of feature films, including Charly (1968),Freaky Friday (1976), High Anxiety (1977), Spaceballs (1987) and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993),Van Patten is best known for his role as Tom Bradford on the television series, Eight is Enough (1977-1981). He had earlier appeared I Remember Mama (1950-1952) and made guest appearances on a number of shows on the small screen, including The Love Boat and Hec Ramsey, as well as starring in two movies based on his Eight is Enough series. Left and right edges irregularly cut. Corners and edges slightly worn. Slight surface creases and dents (not seen head on). Otherwise, fine condition.
