The talented Dionne Warwick scores hits on a variety of music charts, including pop, adult contemporary and R&B. She won Grammy Awards for "Do You Know the Way to San Jose" (1968), "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" (1970), "I'll Never Love This Way Again" and "Déjà Vu" (both 1979). Valley of the Dolls, the film version of the Jacqueline Susann novel, and with Warwick as a musical performer, came out in 1967. Many of her biggest hits were composed by Burt Bacharach, whose complicated songs require someone of her ability. Musical talent runs in her family; pop superstar Whitney Houston is Warwick's niece.
