pen. B/w, 6x4¼. Photo affixed to cardstock. Dirk Graham (b.1959) is a
retired right wing who played 12 seasons in the NHL with the Minnesota North
Stars and the Chicago Blackhawks. He is considered the first black
captain in the NHL. As captain of the Blackhawks, Graham led his team all
the way to the Stanley Cup finals where they were swept by the Penguins in
1992. He is the recipient of the Frank J. Selke Trophy for best defensive
forward (1991). He is also three time IHL All-Star. He is currently a
scout for the San Jose Sharks. In the NHL, Graham played 772, scoring 219 goals
and aiding in 270 assists. Toned. Photo irregularly cropped at bottom right
