Dixie Dunbar (1919-1991) starred in Broadway and film musicals (Pigskin Parade, Alexander's Ragtime Band) of the late 1930s, preferring the stage in the 1940s. Born Christina, the Atlanta-born Dunbar quickly earned the moniker Dixie in New York. Later a nightclub enteretainer, she was the dancing Old Gold cigarette pack in TV commercials (1949-1951), with only her legs visible. Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business man by day, pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends with many celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen. Corners worn and creased. Lightly toned around edges. Otherwise, Fine condition.
