DOC HOLLYWOOD MOVIE CAST
Captioned photograph for the 1991 film, signed by stars Michael J. Fox and Julie Warner
Photograph signed: "Michael J. Fox", "Julie Warner", in blue felt tip, B/w 10x8. Canadian-born actor MICHAEL J. FOX (b. 1961) first won a large US audience playing Alex Keaton, the Republican son of liberal parents on the TV series Family Ties (1982-1989). His feature film breakthrough was as Marty McFly in the Back to the Future trilogy (1985-1990). He had a notable starring TV turn as mayor's assistant Mike Flaherty on Spin City (1996-2000). Fox has won four Emmys and been nominated for six more, most recently as a recurring guest star on Boston Legal (2006). The progressive effects of Parkinson's disease caused his semi-retirement from acting in 2000. He remains very active through his own Parkinson's Foundation, and making TV ads and other promotions for candidates of both parties who support stem cell research. Fox has been married since 1988 to actress Tracy Pollan. Actress JULIE WARNER (b. 1965) achieved fame with her breakout role in the 1991 film Doc Hollywood, and followed it with supporting roles in Mr. Saturday Night (1992) and Tommy Boy (1995). She later found success in television, appearing in several recurring roles, most notably in the series Family Law for 49 episodes. Warner continues to appear in television today, appearing in the series Crash (2007) for several episodes, and most recently having a minor role in the drama Dexter. Fine condition.
