Sale Price $180.00
Color photo of a redheaded and red-clad Dolores Hart staring down a red wicker monkey, signed with her "Best Wishes"
Photograph signed "Best Wishes/Dolores Hart". Color, 7¾x9¾. American actress Hart, born in 1938, made her official movie debut opposite Elvis Presley in Loving You (1957), although she has an earlier uncredited role in Forever Amber (1947). She's probably best known as Merritt Andrews in Where the Boys Are (1960). In all, Hart appeared in 17 movies and TV shows between 1947 and 1963, often in starring roles. She also starred in the Tony-nominated production of The Pleasure of His Company (1958-1959). As of this biography, Hart is a Benedictine nun - as well as a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; she is currently the only nun to be a part of that organization. Lightly creased and bowed, otherwise in fine condition.
