Don Buse (b. 1950) is a basketball player who spent 13 seasons in the NBA playing for the Indiana Pacers, the Phoenix Suns, the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Kansas City Kings. He attended Evansville College where he played for Arad McCutchan. Although he was selected in the 1972 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns, Buse would begin his professional career with the Pacers. He was on the Indiana Pacers squad that won the ABA championship in 1973. Buse's best season came in 1975-1976; he led the ABA in steals per game and assists per game. Moreover, he was a consecutive six-time All-Defensive Team member beginning in the 1974-1975 season and ending in the 1979-1980 season (2 for the ABA and 4 for the NBA). Lightly toned. Ink note on verso in an unknown hand. Otherwise, fine condition.
