Don Knotts (1924-2006) played zealous but inept Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife on The Andy Griffith Show, televised on CBS from 1960-1968 (Knotts left the series in 1965). He won three Emmy Awards portraying Barney Fife while he was a regular, adding two more Emmys for appearances in an episode during the 1965-1966 season, "The Return of Barney Fife", and in the 1966-1967 season, "Barney Comes to Mayberry". Knotts, a former regular on The Steve Allen Show (1955-1960), also appeared in such films as No Time for Sergeants (1955) with Griffith and in The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964), The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (1966) and The Shakiest Gun in the West (1968). Corners rounded. Light surface creases. Torn in top margin. Paper affixed on verso. Soiled and stained on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
