Sinden appeared in both a Royal Shakespeare Company and a Broadway production of this play, earning a Drama Desk Award Special Mention for his performance in 1975. British actor Sinden (1923-2014), got his start on the stage, performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company since the 1960s and earning a Tony Award nod for his performance in Habeas Corpus(1975-1976). He added movies to his resume in 1948 - he appeared in numerous Rank Organisation movies during the 1950s - and TV in 1958. British TV viewers probably recognize him from his recurring roles on and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (1960), Our Man at St. Mark's (1964-1966), Thirty-Minute Theatre (1971), Two's Company(1975-1979), Never the Twain (1981-1991) and Judge John Deed (2001-2007); he earned a BAFTA nomination for Best Light Entertainment performance in Two's Company. Sinden was knighted in 1997. Lightly toned, creased and bowed. Light impressions from notations on image (not visible head-on). Otherwise, fine condition.
