6¾x3½. Written in ink on a photocopied page containing a fragment of a text
discussing Douglas Aircraft's contributions to the development of rockets for
space exploration. In 1920, Donald W. Douglas (1892-1981) formed
Davis-Douglas Co., which became Douglas Aircraft Co. in 1928. Douglas was
president from 1928-1957 and chairman from 1957-1967, when his company merged
with McDonnell Douglas. Douglas served as honorary chairman from 1967 until his
death. The company merged again in 1997 to form Boeing McDonnell Douglas. Sheet.
Sheet contains normal flaws of an early photocopy. Fine
condition.
