Photograph signed: "Dorothy Revier" in blue ink. Color, 3½x5¼. Dorothy Revier (1904-1993, born Doris Velagra) was a chorus girl and cabaret dancer before making her silent film debut in Broadway Madonna (1921). She often played the evil seductress, as in her role as Milady de Winter in The Iron Mask (1929). Most of her later films were B-movies, earning her the title "Queen of Poverty Row." She made her last film in 1936. Ink notes on verso in unknown hand. Fine condition.
