Dorris Bowdon (1914-2005), Miss Memphis of 1937, was cast with Henry Fonda in her first two films (Young Mr. Lincoln, Drums Along the Mohawk) before joining him again in her best known role, Rosasham in The Grapes of Wrath (1940). While working on that film, she met screenwriter Nunnally Johnson, who she married, raising three children and retiring from film. Her grandson is actor Jack Johnson. Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business man by day, pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends with many celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves, Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in fountain pen. Corners worn and creased. Lightly toned around edges. Otherwise, Fine condition.
