DOYLE "TEXAS DOLLY" BRUNSON - AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH - HFSID 274151
Sale Price $378.00
DOYLE BRUNSON. Photograph signed: "Doyle/Brunson". Color, 16x10. A professional poker player for over 40 years, Doyle Brunson has won a record-tying ten World Series of Poker bracelets. He won consecutive main events at the World Series of Poker in 1976-1977. Nicknamed "Texas Dolly" after an announcer misread his name, Doyle has also authored successful books on poker. He claims that despite the royalties earned on Super System (1978, revised 2005), the book actually cost him money because it improved the play of so many rivals. Two hands of Texas Hold 'Em are named for Brunson. An outstanding basketball player and runner in his youth, he might have played professional basketball had he not suffered a broken leg. Doyle's son Todd won a bracelet in Omaha High Low at the 2005 World Series of Poker. Fine condition.
