Photograph signed: "Good Luck/Leslie/Nielsen" and "Amy Yasbeck", B/w 10x8. Publicity photograph for the 1995 film Dracula: Dead and Loving It. Although his career stretches back half a century and includes over 100 films and countless TV programs, Leslie Nielsen (1926-2010) gained true fame late in his career, when he starred in a series of comic spoofs beginning with 1980's Airplane! A notorious off screen practical joker and cut-up, he was not given an onscreen conduit for this trait until he was cast in these films. This led to Nielsen's deadpan characterization of monumentally inept police lieutenant Frank Drebin on Z.A.Z.'s cult TV series Police Squad, which in turn spawned the 1988 hit The Naked Gun and two sequels. American actress Amy Yasbeck was born on September 12, 1962 in Blue Ash, Ohio. Best known for her role as Casey Chapel Davenport on the television series Wings, she has appeared in films and television for over 25 years. She had memorable roles in two Mel Brooks' comedies Dracula: Dead and Loving It (1995) and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993). She was married to actor John Ritter and co-starred with him in Problem Child (1990) and Problem Child 2 (1991). Other memorable screen credits include Pretty Woman (1990) and The Mask (1994).
