DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE: CHRISTOPHER LEE and VERONICA CARLSON Both have signed on this dramatic black and white still from the 1968 film Photograph signed: "Christopher Lee" and "Veronica Carlson" both in black ink, 10x8. CHRISTOPHER LEE (1922-2015) was a British actor best known for his villainous roles in films and television. Beginning in 1957, the English actor portrayed the characters of Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, the Mummy, Fu Manchu, Rasputin, and a James Bond villain (Scaramanga in The Man with the Golden Gun, 1974). In 2002, at age 80, he played renegade Jedi Count Dooku in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and the wizard Saruman in the The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Beginning with the 1959 version of Hound of the Baskervilles, he has also appeared as Sherlock Holmes. VERONICA CARLSON (b. 1944) is an English actress, most known as the leading lady in the Hammer Horror films of the late 1960s. Measuring 5'6" with fair skin and blonde locks, the British bombshell starred in Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed (1969), Dracula Has Risen from the Grave (1968) and The Ghoul (1975) among many others. She also appeared in several episodes of the British crime series Spyder's Web (1972). Fine condition.
