Drew Barrymore (b. 1975) is a fourth-generation member of the famous Barrymore acting family. The fourth child of John Drew Barrymore, the actress's childhood was turbulent. Thrust in front of the cameras at an early age, she starred in films like E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (1982) and Firestarter (1984). Throughout her adolescent and teenage years she dealt with mental health and substance abuse issues, even posing nude while a teenager in Playboy and Interview. After recovering from these problems, she formed production company Flower Films at the age of 20. The business's second film was Charlie's Angels (2000), a box office smash that solidified her position as a star.
