8x10. Stand-up comedian Drew Carey (born in 1958) is best known for
Emmy-nominated TV series, The Drew Carey Show (1995-2004), which he
created, executive produced, occasionally directed and starred in. He was also
the moderator and executive producer of Who's Line Is It Anyway?
(from 1998), for which regular Wayne Brady won an Emmy Award in 2003 (the
show was also nominated for several additional Emmys) and the executive
producer of the made-for-TV movie, Gepetto, in which he starred as the
kindly toy maker. Carey has also appeared in several feature films, including
Coneheads (1993) and Robots (2005, voice of Crank), and is
frequently seen on the small screen on talk shows and in guest appearances on
series. On February 21, 2003, the former Marine got his star on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame - appropriately, directly in front of The Supply Sergeant.
