DUSTIN HOFFMAN
Black and white publicity still of the actor and his co-star Robert Redford in the 1976 film
All the President's Men, signed in blue felt tip
Printed Photograph signed in Ink: "Dustin/Hoffman", in blue felt tip, b/w, 10x8. Still from
the 1976 film, All the President's Men, in which Hoffman starred as reporter Carl
Bernstein. ©, Warner Bros. Captioned at lower margin. Hoffman is pictured with Robert
Redford (not signing), who co-starred as fellow "Washington Post" reporter (and rival), Bob
Woodward. The emergence of Dustin Hoffman (b.1937) heralded the arrival of a new era of
Hollywood stardom. Diminutive, wiry and unassuming, he was anything but the usual
matinee idol, yet he quickly distinguished himself among the most popular and celebrated
screen performers of his generation. He has won two Academy Awards for Best Actor
(Kramer vs. Kramer, 1980 and Rain Man, 1989) in addition to earning five Oscar
nominations (The Graduate, 1968; Midnight Cowboy, 1970; Lenny, 1975; Tootsie, 1983
and Wag the Dog, 1998). Lightly creased at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
