EARL BOEN
The actor pens a letter to Todd Axelrod, founder of the Gallery of History, explaining
that he considers each role he plays to be his most important…until another role come
along!
Autograph Letter signed: "Earl Boen" in black ink, 8½x11. No place, 1984 June 21. To "Dear
Todd". In full: "Your request reached me in record time- am happy to comply with your
request for photos etc./ As to a letter describing most important role - each role I do is the
most important - until the next one comes along./ Contracts are kept by my agent for
reference - and I'm legally prohibited from sending scripts to anyone - however I've
enclosed the Title Page from the last episode of Barney Miller with a full cast signing -
that was a very emotional shoot - many tears from everyone involved - and many retakes
to get it "just right."/ Thanks for asking for the material - best always to your "America
Museum of Historical Documents" -". A very busy TV guest star since the late 1970s, Earl
Boen (1945-2023) was a series regular in It's a Living from 1981-1982, and Mr.
President from 1987-1988. He has also voiced parts in several animated shows. Boen is
the only actor other than Arnold Schwarzenegger to appear in all three Terminator movies (as
Dr. Silberman). Small stain toward bottom edge below "Historical Documents". Otherwise, fine
condition.
