Large Photograph signed: "Al Lopez" and "Early Wynn". B/w, 14x11. AL LOPEZ was a catcher in over 2,000 games before managing the Cleveland Indians (1951-1956) and the Chicago White Sox (1957-1965, 1968-1969), finishing first twice and second ten times. The New York Yankees won the American League pennant every year from 1949-1964 except twice: 1954 to Lopez's Indians and 1959 to Lopez's White Sox. Thirty-nine-year-old EARLY WYNN won the Cy Young Award as he led the 1959 White Sox to the World Series. Wynn had a 300-244 lifetime record in his 23-year career, during which he pitched for Lopez's Indians (1951-1956) and White Sox (1958-1962). Lopez and Wynn are in the Hall of Fame. Lightly creased in upper blank corners, worn at bottom right corner. Overall, fine condition.
