Baseball signed and annotated: "Ed 'The Glider' Charles/N.Y. Mets 69' World Champs". Rawlings Official Major League Baseball, Allan H. Selig, Commissioner. Ed Charles (1933-2018) played his last major league baseball season with the 1969 "Miracle Mets", who defeated the Baltimore Orioles (4-1) to win the World Series. Charles had previously played first, second and third base, shortstop and outfield for the Kansas City Athletics (1962-1967) before joining the New York Mets in 1967. He played mostly third base with the Mets, moving to first in two games in 1968. Fine condition.
