1938. Perhaps best known for his role as city slicker turned farmer Oliver
Douglas on TV's Green Acres (1965-1971), Eddie Albert (1906-2005)
made his movie debut in Brother Rat in 1938; his costars included Ronald
Reagan and Jane Wyman. Nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Awards
in 1953 (Roman Holiday) and 1972 (The Heartbreak Kid),
Albert's feature films include You're in the Navy Now (1951),
Oklahoma! (1955), The Teahouse of the August Moon (1956), The
Sun Also Rises (1957), The Longest Day (1962), The Longest
Yard (1974), Escape to Witch Mountain (1975), Airport '79 and
Yes, Georgio (1982). Saul Goodman (1919-2003), a New York business
man by day, pursued his love of film and theatre in the evening, making friends
with many celebrities. While other autograph seekers offered album leaves,
Goodman presented stars with snazzy photographs, a rarity then, to sign in
fountain pen. Scattered surface marks and dings. Fine
condition.
