Meal Ticket Signed: “Edgar Small”. 3½x5½. This meal ticket is from the iconic Paramount Continental Café. The purchase was made on April 10, 1952. Edgar Small (1923-2006) was born in New York City. Early in his career, he appeared on Broadway and produced radio shows in The Big Apple. In 1949, he made his screen debut in an uncredited part in The Window.Nearly 40 years later, he finally broke into Hollywood with several screen credits in 1987 and 1988, most notably in Torch Song Trilogy. He went on to appear in a couple dozen screen productions, most notably Another 48 Hrs. (1990), Beyond Belief (1992), and two episodes of Seinfeld (1997-1998). Toned and worn. Rounded edges. His order is on the receipt. Creasing and minor tears throughout.
