8x10½. Washington, D.C., 1972 January 12. On letterhead of the United

U.S. Senator from Maine (1959-1980). As a Senator, Muskie was a

Democratic Party's Vice Presidential nominee in 1968, and the early

harsh newspaper attack. Muskie concluded his public service as U.S. Secretary
of State (1980-1981). Worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
