Revolution in black ink

In full from Spanish: “The Spanish Revolution is uprising while a capitalist and imperialist
world is dying, in the aurora of a new age in which the worldwide hegemony will belong to the
Hispanic people, to the American republics of Iberian civilization.” Eduardo Garcia Del Real
(1870-1947) was a Spanish Physician and philosopher who graduated from the University
of San Carlos. He made his first practices at the Hospital Provincial with the great clinician
Juan Madinaveitia and with Dr. Huertas, who taught him surgery. Garcia Del Real held
many positions such as: Surgeon of Recas, Toledo Municipal Charities ; Physician of
Madrid Charities; Professor of the Navy Academy; Professor of “Childhood diseases”, at
University of Santiago; “Pathology and Medical Clinic” of Valladolid, and “Critical
History of Medicine”. He published several articles about the History of Medicine,
mainly focusing in Spain. He was one of the fourteen members of the faculty to oppose to
give a Doctor Honoris Causa to King Alfonso XIII. Toned and soiled. Edges slightly frayed.
