Edward G. Robinson signs a contract to appear in the play Middle
of the Night.
Contract Signed: "Edward G. Robinson", 1p, 8½x9½. New York,
New York, 1955 November 16. For 5% compensation Edward G. Robison
agrees to appear in the play "Middle of the Night". Edward G. Robinson
(1893-1973) had his first film success in Little Caesar (1931),
leading to a series of gangster roles. Later memorable films included Double
Indemnity (1944), Key Largo (1948), The Cincinnati Kid (1948)
and Soylent Green (1973). Robinson learned shortly before his death that
he would be awarded an Academy Award in 1973 for his outstanding
contributions to motion pictures. File holes at upper margin. Upper left corner
missing. Fine condition.
