good/ wishes-/ Edward Herrmann" in black ink, b/w, 8x10. Frequently cast as a blue blood
and/or intellectual (The Paper Chase, 1973; The Emperor's Club, 2002), Edward Herrmann
(1943-2014) also hosted and narrated several historical documentaries for the History Channel
and the Arts and Entertainment Network. Cast as Franklin Roosevelt in both a TV movie
(Eleanor and Franklin, 1976-1977) and a stage musical (Annie, 1982), Herrmann showed
his versatility by learning to throw and hit left-handed for the TV movie A Love Affair: The
Eleanor and Lou Gehrig Story (1977). His many TV appearances have included a regular
role on The Gilmore Girls (2000-2007) and a recurring role on The Good Wife from
2010 to 2013. Fine condition.
