Manchester. In full: "After 56 years in journalism and 46 of them as
what has been described as the "eyes and ears" of Wales in Parliament I can only
express the judgment that journalism is the most fascinating of al professions
and the best of London Editor of a great provincial newspaper (which I have had
the privilege of holding for half a century) the very best the profession has to
offer. I would gladly live it al again. Edward James, Past chairman of the Press
