In 1996, Olmos was seen on the big screen in Disturbing the Peace and Caught, and he appeared in the made-for-TV movie, The Limbic Region, and the TV mini-series, Dead Man's Walk. Multitalented stage, screen and television actor and musician Edward James Olmos (born in 1947) began his career as a rock singer before getting his first big break in the 1978 play, Zoot Suit, which moved to Broadway and resulted in his Tony Award nomination for Best Actor (Featured Role - Play); Olmos would recreate his role of El Pachuco in the 1981 film version. He first appeared on television in an episode of Cannon in 1974, and Olmos would go on to star in several regular roles, most notably as Lieutenant Martin Castillo on Miami Vice (1984-1989), as well as Jess Gonzalez on American Family (2002) and Commander William Adama on Battlestar Galactica (2004-2007). He has also appeared in several made-for-TV movies and miniseries, including The Burning Season (1994), 12 Angry Men (1997) and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1998), and Olmos has been a guest star on a long list of TV series. His film credits include Blade Runner (1982), Stand and Deliver (1988, for which he was nominated for the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actor), American Me (1992, his directorial debut) and Selena (1997). Olmos was married to his second wife, actress Lorraine Bracco, from 1994-2002. Lightly creased at blank margins and corners and at upper left background.
