Morgan (1910-1993) was an American journalist and broadcaster who wrote for numerous newspapers, including The Seattle Star, The Chicago Daily News, and Collier's Weekly before joining CBS and then ABC Radio as a reporter. He was awarded the George Foster Peabody Award in 1956 for his exceptional broadcasting work. For ABC, he covered the collision of ocean liners the S.S. Andrea Doria and S.S.
