and Edward Moore Kennedy, Jr. (born in 1961). Inside, in the nine-page spread,
Kennedy has signed two additional times. Signature: "Ted

sense of continuity." On November 29, 1958, 26-year-old Edward Moore Kennedy,
the youngest of the children of Joseph P. and Rose Kennedy, married 22-year-old
Joan Bennett. In addition to their two sons, the couple also had a daughter,
Kara Anne Kennedy (born in 1960). They were divorced in 1983 and 60-year-old
Kennedy married 38-year-old attorney Victoria Reggie in 1992. Edward
Kennedy (1932-2009) was first elected to the U.S. Senate from
Massachusetts in 1962 to fill the seat vacated by his brother the
President- serving until his death. Maturing from "kid brother" of the
President into a national spokesman for liberal causes, he challenged
incumbent President Jimmy Carter for the Democratic nomination in 1980, but
fell short. Beset by personal tragedies, some of his own making, Ted Kennedy
remained an eloquent and important voice in the Senate and in his party.Kennedy's son Patrick has been one of Rhode Island's two Congressmen since
