He later appeared as con artist Daniel Chalmers on his daughter Stephanie's weekly series Remington Steele (1982-1987) and as the voice of faithful butler Alfred on numerous Batman animated series in the 1990s and 2000's, and has guest starred in a number of other series, including Babylon 5 (1997). Zimbalist also appeared six times on Broadway between 1945 and 1956 and produced four Broadway productions between 1947 and 1950. Lightly creased and bowed.
