Autograph Note signed: "Best wishes/to Kayo/Elaine/Stewart",
4¼x2¾ card with magazine photo (color, 1½x2¾) attached at left. Elaine Stewart
(1929-2011) was a glamorous model who appeared in many films of the 1950s, but
never broke through to full-fledged stardom, despite critical and popular
acclaim in films like The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) and
Brigadoon (1954). Her last major film role was in The Most
Dangerous Man Alive (1961), but she reappeared on TV as hostess of two
game shows produced by her husband, Merrill Heater (High Rollers,
1975; Las Vegas Gambit, 1980). Pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso (no
show-through). Fine condition.
