Comedy writer and performer Elayne Boosler (b. 1952) has performed in clubs from Las Vegas to Atlantic City and has been a featured guest on many primetime television shows including The Late Show, The Midnight Special, and Friday Night Videos. Very politically active, she moderated a 2003 Democratic presidential candidates' debate on behalf of the National Organization of Women, is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post and hosts her own progressive radio talk show, always working on behalf of women's reproductive freedom.
