magazines, including Wide Awake (1891-1893). He was the author of many
popular, youth-oriented books and articles on historical and patriotic
themes. These included biographies of George Washington, Abraham Lincoln,
Ulysses S. Grant and John Paul Jones. Lightly worn. Lightly soiled. Lightly
