Signature: "Elizabeth Allen" in black ink, 4¼x2¼ card. American actress and singer Elizabeth Allen (1929-2006) received two Tony nominations for her performances in the musicals The Gay Life (1961-1962) and Do I Hear a Waltz? (1965). Often cast as a good girl, Allen got her start on the stage and in modeling, landing her first TV credit on the Jackie Gleason Show at the "Away We Go!" girl. She first appeared on TV and in her first movie, From the Terrace, in 1960, the first of her over TV roles until 1983. One of Allen's most memorable performances was as Jack Warden's daughter in Donovan's Reef (1963) and as a living mannequin in the 1960 Twilight Zone episode The After Hours. She also had recurring roles Bracken's World (1969-1970), The Paul Lynde Show (1972-1973) and C. P. O. Sharkey (1976-1977). Toned. Ink notes (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
