Autograph note on photograph signed: "Liz Hubbard", "L.H.", B/w 3¾x5¾. Note (on verso): "John, Thanks for writing and for your support of "ATWT"". Elizabeth Hubbard (b. 1933) made her first soap opera appearance on The Guiding Light in 1962. She is best known, however, for her roles as Dr. Althea Davis on The Doctors (1964-1982, with interruptions) and Lucinda Walsh on As the World Turns (1984-2010). Nominated for many Daytime Emmy Awards, she scored the first of her two wins as First Lady Edith Bolling Wilson in First Ladies' Diaries (1976). She appeared in a Dutch soap opera in 2009, being already well known in that country from broadcasts of As the World Turns. Hubbard has made occasional guest visits to prime time TV, in series like The Virginian and Law & Order, and in feature films (Ordinary People, 1980). Irregularly cut. Lightly toned on verso. Fine condition.
