Academy Award-winning actress ELIZABETH TAYLOR (1932-2011) was under
contract by the age of ten and made her screen debut in 1942's There's
One Born Every Minute, followed a year later by a prominent role in
Lassie Come Home. For M-G-M (Loew's Inc.), she co-starred in the
1944 adaptation of Jane Eyre, then appeared in The White Cliffs of
Dover. With her first lead role as a teen equestrian in the 1944 family
classic National Velvet, Taylor became a star. In 1947, the year she
signed this document, the young actress starred in Cynthia and
Life With Father. Because Elizabeth was a minor at this time,
her mother, SARA SOTHERN TAYLOR, also had to sign her contracts.
Lightly creased, folds (not at signatures). Lightly soiled at lower blank
margin of first page. 2 file holes at upper blank margins. Overall, fine
condition.
