ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY and WILLIAM ASHER. Typed Contract and Addendum signed: "Elizabeth Montgomery" (on each), 4p, 8½x11. No place, 1972 December 29. Countersigned: "William Asher" (twice on each) and "Marvin Paris" (on each) for Creative Management Associates (CMA). Montgomery, Asher and Ashmont Productions pay CMA $225,000 so that CMA will release them from all demands, claims, debts, etc. In part: "3. CMA shall be entitled to receive commissions on contracts between William Asher and American International Pictures...in which William Asher rendered services as a writer or director. 4. CMA is entering into this Agreement based upon Ashers' representation that other than the activities described in Paragraph 3 above, the television series entitled 'Bewitched', The Paul Lynde Show ('Howie') and 'Temperature's Rising' and the Ashmont/Screen Gems development deal, Ashers entertainment activities would only produce nominal commissions for CMA...." Elizabeth MONTGOMERY (1933-1995) and William ASHER were married from 1963-1973. He won the 1966 Emmy for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy for Bewitched. Nominated nine times (five for Bewitched), Montgomery never won an Emmy. Lightly creased, folds not at signatures. Staple holes at upper left. Overall, fine condition.
