Elizabeth Wilson (1921-2015) won a Tony Award for her performance in Sticks and Bones (1972) and earned an Emmy nomination for her performance in Nutcracker: Money, Madness and Murder (1987). Wilson studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and New York City's Neighborhood Playhouse before making her Broadway debut in the 1953 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Picnic. She reprised her role as Christine Schoenwalder in the 1955 film adaptation, which was also her first credited film role. She appeared in a total of 18 Broadway performances between 1953 and 2000, including the original production of The Desk Set (1955-1956), and in a total of almost 70 movies and TV shows between 1946 and 2001. Wilson had starring roles in Rod Serling's Patterns (1956), The Graduate (1967), The Prisoner of Second Avenue (1974), The Incredible Shrinking Woman (1981) and The Addams Family (1991) and a recurring role as Frieda Hechlinger in East Side/West Side (1963-1964), Annie Bogert in Doc (1975-1976) Kathy Kelly in Morningstar/Eveningstar (1986) and Rosalind Dupree in Delta (1993).
