Signed 2006 Upper Deck NFL trading card with the running back preparing to sprint
downfield
Sports card signed: "Emerson Boozer/32", in blue felt tip, 3½x2½. A two-time Pro Bowler
(1966, 1968), Emerson Boozer (b. 1943) was a New York Jets running back from
1966-1975. Only a rookie in 1966, he was named to his first Pro Bowl. As the starting
running back in 1967, he rushed for 10 touchdowns through the first eight games, only to
suffer a season-ending knee injury. Despite only playing half the season, he held the AFL
record for rushing touchdowns that season. Following his injury, Boozer went on to have a
solid career with the Jets, becoming a strong blocker and pass catcher as well as a runner. He
was part of the Jets team that defeated the Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III. He was
inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010. Lightly beaded, but legible.
Corners creased. Fine condition.
