Francis (born 1926 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan) played most his
professional hockey in the United States - first with the Chicago Black Hawks
(1947) and then the NY Rangers (1948-1952), he was the winner, Leader Cup,
1952-53 Returning to Canada, he played for a
number of minor league teams and then turned to coaching. Francis landed head
coaching jobs with the NY Rangers (1965-1966) and (1974-1975), St. Louis Blues
(1976-1977) and (1981-1983). He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in
1982. Fine condition.
