Magazine Photograph Signed: "Emile/Francis" Color, 7½x5¼. Emile Francis (1926-2022)
played most of his professional hockey in the United States - first with the Chicago Black
Hawks (1947) and then the NY Rangers (1948-1952), he was the winner of the Leader Cup,
1952-1953. Returning to Canada, he played for a number of minor league teams and then
turned to coaching. Francis landed head coaching jobs with the NY Rangers (1965-1966) and
(1974-1975), St. Louis Blues (1976-1977) and (1981-1983). He was inducted into the
Hockey Hall of Fame in 1982. Lightly creased and toned at edges. Otherwise, fine condition.
