Emlyn Williams (1905-1987) was a distinguished Welsh playwright (Night Must Fall, 1936; The Corn is Green, 1942), screenwriter (The Man Who Knew Too Much, 1934) and film and stage actor (who won a Tony for A Boy Growing Up, 1958).
