Autograph note signed: "To -/Herbert/Sincerely/Emmett Lynn", 4¼x5¾ album leaf. Former vaudeville performer Emmett "Pops" Lynn (1897-1958) specialized in playing crusty characters, especially the sidekick of western heroes such as Tim Holt, Don Barry and Rocky Lane. He appeared in almost 160 credits in his 20 year film career, contrasting with his only one Broadway appearance in 1931's Gasoline Gypsies. His last appearance was in The Ten Commandments (1956). Slightly soiled. Binder holes at top edge. Toned. Light surface creases. Edges slightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
