Terry and Paige both signed this document in 1784, as selectmen of Enfield,
Connecticut, to certify that Asa Hall was part of the Continental Army. Paige
had served as a captain in the Continental Army.
Manuscript document signed "Eliphalet Terry" and "Ephraim Paige"
as Selectmen of Enfield. 1 page, 7¾x3½. Enfield, Connecticut,
April 16, 1784. "These certify that Asa Hall of Enfield hath served as a
soldier in a regt. commanded by Saml. B. Webb Esqr. in the Ccontinental Army
& that he was of the line after the first day of January 1780." Paige
and Terry were both selectmen of Enfield, Connecticut. In addition, Paige was a
captain in the Continental Army. Lightly toned, stained and creased. Random ink
stains. Irregular edges. Folded once horizontally and twice vertically.
