Postcard photograph signed: "Best of Luck/Eric Gregory". B/w,
3¼x5¼. Speedway motorbike racing was a popular sport from the late 1920s,
especially in the British Empire. Eric Gregory competed on the English
team in the matches with Australia of 1935 and 1936, and raced professionally
for the Wembley Tigers from 1936 to 1939, when the war interrupted
speedway racing for six years. Paper remnant on top edge. Paper residue on
verso. Signature faint, but legible. Corners slightly worn. Light surface
creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
