Typed note sending an autograph but declining to give "an outline of
my career"
Typed Note signed: "Erich Brandeis", 5x3 card. Addressed in
his hand to Roy Pitts, Anniston, Alabama, postmarked September 17, 1953. In
full: "If you want an outline of my career, you will find it in 'Who's
Who in America', which is undoubtedly in your library. Here is my autograph."
Erich Brandeis (1889-1954) wrote a syndicated newspaper column titled
"Looking at Life." He was the author of a biography, Franklin D. Roosevelt,
the Man (1936). Lightly toned. Ink stamps and marks (unknown hand) on verso.
